On the internet today, I see a lot of myths going around about the MLM network marketing opportunity claims and exactly how much people are making. Don’t fall for the hype of people throwing money in your face and when they do things like that… please disregard it. What they do is prey on your emotions and want you to join them since you believe you can get rich super fast also. Network marketing is a serious business and should be treated as such, which takes time, dedication and persistence.
Here are some untruths I hear about this industry.
1. It’s a scam. When I hear this one I use to get angry but not much more so and more, I usually laugh it off. People always scream scam at almost anything whether it is network marketing or a new product that came out. The reason is so they can stay in their comfort zone and also not allow other to step out of theirs. Network marketing has been around for over 50 years and growing at an amazing rate with the power of the internet…how is that a scam?
The ones who cry scam are the ones who failed in the industry, it’s plain and simple.
2. Next comes the myth that network marketing will be easy to learn. It is not easy to learn. It’s a skill just like anything else out there. If you as any other business man if there business was easy to build they will tell you “NO”! It takes some work on your part and getting involved with the right company, product and service.
3. Your family and friends are your best prospects because they are your “warm market”. I think the exact opposite. They are not your prospects because they have no idea what your doing and also they are most likely not looking for an opportunity to secure their financial futures. Makes sense doesn’t it?
Instead what you have to do is market to the people who are already looking for you. That’s the big so called “secret” in network marketing.
